When it comes to sourcing supplies, the principle I always follow is finding high-quality items at the lowest cost per unit. For example, let’s say I’m buying 1-ounce sample containers for customers to try my treats. If a pack of 500 costs $18, that’s $0.036 per container—a fantastic deal! But while buying in bulk often saves money, there’s a limit to how practical it is. If I bought 10,000 sample cups, not only would it cost more upfront, but it’s unlikely I’d use them all within a year—and I’d have to figure out where to store them!
If a link changes or an item becomes unavailable, don’t worry—just look for a high-quality substitute with a similarly low cost per unit. Amazon often highlights this for you, but you can always calculate it yourself by dividing the total price by the number of units. Find what works best for you, and happy sourcing! ✨
